What does a Shopify agency do?
Opening a Shopify store takes a few days; building one that sells is a different job. A Shopify agency handles the technical side of the store, from theme and payment and shipping integrations to product data, speed and tracking, and then keeps growing it. Performetic is a Shopify Partner, and because the same team runs your ads and SEO, setup decisions follow sales data.
Scope
| Area | What we do |
|---|---|
| Setup and migration | New Shopify stores, migrations from WooCommerce, ikas or Ticimax, 301 redirects and protecting SEO traffic |
| Theme development | Online Store 2.0 themes, custom sections, product and collection templates, mobile first design |
| Apps and integrations | Payments, shipping, invoicing, ERP and marketplace integrations, removing apps you do not need |
| Speed | Core Web Vitals work, image and script optimization |
| Shopify SEO | Collection and product page structure, structured data, filters and canonicals |
| Tracking and CRO | GA4, Meta Conversions API, Google enhanced conversions, product page and cart tests |
How we work
- Audit: we review the store's speed, apps, tracking and SEO.
- Plan: we prioritize the work with the largest effect on sales; a full rebuild is rarely needed.
- Build: theme and integration work happens on a development store and ships in controlled releases.
- Grow: once the store is ready, we run performance marketing and ecommerce SEO on top of it.
Shopify or another platform?
Shopify is not the right answer for every brand. For brands in Türkiye with heavy local payment and accounting needs, ikas or Ticimax can be more practical; see our ecommerce infrastructure setup page. When you sell abroad, need a multilingual store or a broad app ecosystem, Shopify usually wins. We compare both against your costs and growth plan before you decide.
Shopify work is one part of what Performetic does as an ecommerce agency; see the results in our case studies.
